TPK’s 5th New Year Health Run & Tug-of-War 2026: Run for Unity, Transform for a New Chapter!
What a fantastic way to ring in the Year of the Horse! On February 24, 2026, the 78 members of TPK (Tairan Industrial) – your favorite LED lighting team – gathered at Dongfeng Wetland Park for our 5th Annual Company-Wide New Year Health Run & Team Building Event. This year’s theme, splashed across our big event banner, said it all: “Run Together for Unity, Transform Together for a New Chapter” – and we lived every word of it!
First up was the star of the show: the 10km health run. Let’s be real, 10km is no walk in the park (pun totally intended!), but that didn’t stop anyone from lacing up their shoes. A group of our super dedicated colleagues powered through the full distance, crossing the finish line with their heads held high – major kudos for that incredible endurance! But here’s the best part: this run was never just about finishing. Teammates who took it slower, jogged a few kilometers, or even walked the trails were just as much a part of the fun. We stuck to our “unity” theme hard – cheering each other on at every turn, sharing water bottles, and high-fiving anyone who needed a little extra motivation. The wetland paths were filled with laughter, encouragement, and that awesome post-holiday energy we all needed.
Once everyone caught their breath, it was time for the tug-of-war showdown – and let’s just say, the “聚合力 (unity)” in our banner theme was put to the test! We split into four teams, one for each department, and the competition was on. The park echoed with chants of “Pull! Pull! Pull!” as each team dug their heels in, leaning back and working as one. It wasn’t just about brute strength; it was about syncing up, trusting your teammates, and fighting for your department. Even the folks on the sidelines were in full swing, yelling so loud you could hear them across the park. Every team gave it their all, and honestly? Winning or losing didn’t matter – the camaraderie was the real prize.
By the end of the day, we were all a little sore, a lot sweaty, and absolutely buzzing with good vibes. This 5th annual event wasn’t just a chance to get active; it was a perfect kickoff to our “new chapter” of organizational transformation. We got to step away from desks and production lines, connect with coworkers we don’t see every day, and remind ourselves that when TPK works together – whether running 10km or pulling a rope – we’re unstoppable.
We did notice a couple small tweaks for next year (hello, a 5km fun run option for our 10km newbies, plus a group warm-up to keep everyone limber!), but overall, this day was a home run.
